Grüße aus Düsseldorf!

So we arrived here after a very long (9 hour) very comfortable bus journey from Berlin, with nowhere to stay because the einzige Jugundherberge was fully booked. With my amazing (haha) German skills, I phoned up some wee hotel and booked us a room. After a rather short taxi journey (OH MY GOD A TAXI! - first time in a car in 22 days) we arrived at the hotel.

Believe me, staying in a room with just Laura, a TV, a BATH and SHOWER EN SUITE, free sweets, FEATHER DUVETS and PILLOWS was just... amazing. Really, really amazing. I mean the hotel was nothing special, just beds and clean for 70 teueros, but the fact that we didn't have to share with 6/16 other people was just... *squeeeeeeee*

Last night we went for a wander around the Stadt, very ambient, very posh and VERY expensive... I bought a wonderful olive green cord jacket in H&M and yes, Düsseldorf is noice.

Tonight (well, this afternoon) we're off to Amsterdam to get absolutly smacked off our tits, ride bikes, eat cheese, plant tulips and swim in the canals after we've played with some whores. :D Tomorrow, we will be meeting the love of Mr. Joe Evans' life, just_leonie for more hedonistic persuits in 'Dam, including the Rijks museeeeeeeeeeum, Anne Frank Huis, Heineken museum etc etc (if she agrees) and then Friday, kommen wir zurück!

I really like Germany, it's a nice place and the people are all so nice too. From this trip, I have definately come to the conclusion that I have not made the wrong decision for a degree. (Hell I even cracked a joke with the hotel receptionist today, and he laughed!)
